My Mykonos Hotel

Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and even better staff - the warmest welcome to Greece! It’s a bit of a (steep) walk to Mykonos town so if you want to easily get between the hotel and town, it’s not the best option. But for the price and quality of my stay, it’s 100% worth it and I would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Possibly the worst holiday experience in 40 years. A tent pitched in a field would have offered equal facilities. We awoke after the first night of stay very hot and found that the aircon had stopped working, we then found around 8am - No lighting No power No water No flushing toilet No Aircon No WIFI This was immediately reported and we were told that they were working on it and it was a problem in the whole area. Not true other rooms had facilities , so did reception and the buildings close by bars etc. Ok we thought, we were going into town and hoped they would fix it by the time we came back. We returned around 3pm after the walk up cardiac hill, no pavements side of road like a building site and horrendous traffic hoping to freshen up and go out for the evening. Upon our return still no facilities, reported to reception again ,not a great response "we are still working on a fix". We proceeded to the supermarket to buy some bottled water in order to wash and some toilet paper as they had left none. We went out for the evening around 8pm and returned at 11pm. Still no facilities the room was pitch black. Reported again and was told " it should be fixed soon". I said I would wait here at reception until it was fixed. A while later while still at reception we were told that they could move us to another room. I asked if they had any torches to give us some form of lighting in order to pack all our belongings. "Cant you use the light on your mobile phone "was the response. I informed that my phone was dead as we had not had any power in the room. I proceeded to take some battery lights from around the pool in order to see to pack. We started packing and the lights came on, great we thought its fixed and decided not to move room (it was after midnight and we we worn out by the whole experience) 20 minutes later the power went off again and was off all night. We left the next day never to return. This was the most expensive tent we have ever stayed in and we were offered nothing, they did not seem to even care. I am expecting a cut and paste three line apology in response to this post if anything at all.

After traveling through Europe for over a month we found this stay to be an average experience. The room and surroundings were nothing special although the staff tried hard to please it did feel to us as though this was always in search of a tip. Prices for food and drinks was excessive and we were constantly asked for tips with every purchase. This hotel is not cheap and the basic services should be inclusive without pressure for constant tips!! The advertised 15min easy walk to the city centre is untrue. The path along the very busy road is dangerous and the path not easy - the return walk to the motel is rigorous to say the least . The transport in Mykonos is ridiculously prices - on average 40€ for each way for any 10minute transfer. Our TV did not work and although we reported and were assured it would be rectified it never was. The last day prior to checkout we had no power or water. Overall I would not recommend this accommodation. Stay closer to town.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at My Mykonos Hotel to celebrate our 21st Wedding Anniversary and WOW what a hotel. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by such friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff nothing was ever to much trouble. The pool area is lovely and spacious with lots of sunbeds and Brollies and additional areas in the shade to relax, the area, as is all the hotel and grounds spotlessly clean. The staff around the pool were always there to offer towels and to bring you out food and drink when needed. The restaurant is situated right next to the pool, with options to sit either inside or out on the terrace, great choice for breakfast, we were only on a room only basis however the hotel included our breakfast for us which was such a lovely gesture. We stayed in villa 3 (Room 503) which was so spacious it had its own seating area as well as a large area to sit and enjoy outside next to your own plunge pool. The mattress was the most comfortable hotel mattress ive ever slept on. The hotel is situated near a large convenient shop which is helpful. The walk into the city is a hike down and up!!!, However there is a bus stop in front of the supermarket which takes you to the centre of the city, staff on reception will assist with the bus times. Housekeeping staff were so friendly and kept our room topped up with towels and toiletries daily. We had a FABULOUS time staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others. Amazing view, good breakfast spread. Terrible mattresses, a bit too far from town.
